End of Year Staff Breakfast and Awards- June 2nd signifies the last work day for our instructional staff. On
this day, we are having a full breakfast (casseroles, biscuits & gravy,
fruit and scones) catered by The Dinner Bell. The breakfast will be served from
7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. in the GHS cafeteria. At 9:00 a.m. we will all meet in
the GHS gym for the Staff Awards program. After the awards program, if you have
completed the check out procedure with your principal, you are free to begin
your weekend. To assist us with planning for the breakfast, we are asking each
staff member to complete this Yes or No survey.
Graham ISD Inspires Conference- On August 16th Graham ISD will host the GISD Inspires Conference.
This conference will be an opportunity for Graham educators to share
their experiences, strategies and expertise with other Graham ISD educators.
This will be a one day conference with forty-five minute sessions offered
throughout the day. If you would be willing to present at this
conference please click on the link below and fill out the survey to provide
information on your presentation topic. Feel free to present in pairs, as
a team or individually. Another purpose of this day is to share some of
the great things you have done in your classrooms or on your campuses. This
survey will remain open through June 2nd. Finally, if you plan on
presenting more than one session fill out the survey for each topic.
Thank you and we look forward to a great conference!

Keep Loading the Wagon
“Don’t worry about the mule – just keep loading the wagon!” Billy
Dyer
I am crediting former China Spring High School
math teacher, Billy Dyer, with this quote.
I know he was not the originator of the phrase. With that said, it serves as a great reminder
that we have work to do and sitting around worrying won’t get much
accomplished.
We are on the cusp of the end of the 2015-2016
school year. There is much left to do with little time to do it! Just load the
wagon – keep plugging along, keep doing what you are supposed to do, keep
handling what needs to be handled, keep believing, keep working!
Corny Joke of the Day (In Honor of Mother’s Day!)
Why is a computer so smart? (scroll down for the answer)
It listens to its motherboard.
