Legally Blonde The Musical Jr.- Bravo to the cast and crew on a great show! It was awesome seeing so many students involved. Great job by Mrs. Huitt and Mrs. Sanders for putting it all together!
School Calendar Amendment- Last spring I agreed for Graham ISD to host the junior high and elementary (Crestview and Woodland) UIL Academic contests. There was some difficulty in reaching a consensus on a date for the elementary meet. It was determined the best date for our contests to be Tuesday, February 12. In order to have enough staff and facilities to adequately run the contests, we would need to add a student holiday on February 12 or swap it with another day. It has been decided that we will swap the Friday, February 15 Teacher Workday with Tuesday, February, February 12.
Instead of adding February 12 as an additional student holiday, we are amending the calendar as follows:
● Tuesday, February 12 will be the teacher workday and the date that we host the UIL Academic meets.
● Friday, February 15 will be a regular school day.
No change is being made to Monday, February 18. This date will remain a Staff Development day and student holiday.

The deadline to purchase softball gear is February 4th and the deadline to purchase baseball gear is February 11th.

The sad and wonderful thing is that both of them are correct! We either see our role as an independent contractor or as part of a victorious team.
Whether one’s responsibility is maintaining a building, preparing lunches, driving a bus, managing an office, administering, supervising, or teaching I hope each of us see ourselves as part of a team that is building children and changing lives.
