Always Something To Live For

GOOD MORNING AND HAPPY FRIDAY!

These words come a little harder this week than they do in most others, but… this is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it!

Today, I have reversed the order in which I normally share information. To me, it’s the correct perspective.  I hope you agree.

Always Something To Live For

“Never is there something to die for, but always is there something to live for.” Harrison Brown

This week has provided a multitude of opportunities to reflect on so many things. Most, for which, we have no answers.

With that said, several of my beliefs have been even more solidified this week. First and foremost, there are more good people than there are bad! Even though most of the time it does not get celebrated, if we treat others well, have a zeal for life and choose to be happy, we all can make a positive impact on others.

Throughout the week, local and national media have produced segments to spotlight the life of Harrison Brown.  One of my favorites is linked below. Click on the Longhorn logo to view.

  • The Brown Family Fund at Ciera Bank of Graham 940-549-2040
  • A Harrison Brown Memorial Scholarship has been established at NCTC of Graham. Donation can be sent to North Central Texas College at 928 Cherry St, Graham TX 76450.

A Rosary service will be held for Harrison at 7:00 this evening at St. Mary’s Church in Graham.

A Memorial Service will be held for Harrison at 1:00 pm on Saturday in the Graham High School Gym.  The Memorial Service will be streamed via the Graham ISD Facebook Page.
