Loving Baseball…

Two old friends, Ned and John, lived for baseball.  Then one day, John died, leaving Ned inconsolable.  A few weeks later, Ned heard someone calling his name.  He looked up.  Standing on a cloud was his old pal, John.

"Ned" John called down, "I have good news and bad news.  The good news is, there's baseball in Heaven!"

"Great," said Ned.  "What's the bad news?"

"You're pitching Sunday."

We never know what day we will be called to “pitch”.  Don’t leave things undone and always leave loved ones with loving words!

Have a nice day!

CORNY JOKES OF THE DAY

How long did the baseball player spend in the library?

Congratulations to GJHS and GHS on achieving Level II Certification!

School-Wide Vocabulary Program- This summer Graham ISD will host a professional development workshop called “Developing a School-Wide Vocabulary Program” delivered by Dr. Phil Warrick.  This training comes out of the district’s work with Marzano's High-Reliability Schools and has been implemented at Graham Junior High this year.  Because vocabulary instruction will be a primary district initiative for the 2019-2020 school year, we would like all teachers to attend the training on June 20, 2019.  Each teacher that attends will receive a $125 stipend for attendance.  Teachers are reminded that if you are unable to attend because of a prior commitment that cannot be resolved, please speak with your campus principal.

One
One song can spark a moment,
One flower can wake the dream
One tree can start a forest,
One bird can herald spring.

One smile begins a friendship,
One handclasp lifts a soul.
One star can guide a ship at sea,
One word can frame the goal.

One vote can change a nation,
One sunbeam lights a room.
One candle wipes out darkness,
One laugh will conquer gloom.

One step must start each journey,
One word must start each prayer.
One hope will raise our spirits,
One touch can show you care.

One voice can speak with wisdom.
One heart can know what's true.
One life can make the difference,
you see it's up to You!

Don't ever forget how very Important You Are!!!
